Okay, okay. So when I first heard about this game, I got super excited. It sounded like everything World of Warcraft was not. Also, it involved one of my favorite aspects of online gaming, PVP (player vs. player for you non-dorkulons). I cancelled my Warcraft account, bought the much needed ram update for my PC and I was ready to go. I even had some old Everquest friends that were on a server to help me out. Needless to say, I played it for about a month before it left me wanting to go back to Warcraft. Instead of being completely negative about it, I'll list the pros and cons, so its easy for someone to weigh out their options.
Pros:
-BEAUTIFUL graphics
-Leveling Experience could be gained through PVP
-Lots of available quests for solo or group play
-Public Quests that would allow you to gain exp with other players in the area by killing monsters or performing tasks for a common goal
Cons:
-Although you can move around if you'd like, you're mostly stuck with members of your race fighting on your "home front" until the higher levels.
-Every race has its own classes. For instance, only High Elves can be Arch Mages, and no other race would have that class. Although its usually balanced, there are some races that lack decent healers, or say tanks.
-Not many armor graphics. I like games where your character can be customized to look unique. Although Warhammer allows you the ability to dye armor, the base graphics all look very similar for each class. The same goes for weapons graphics.
-And it just lacked that "feeling" you get when you play an MMORPG that you love. Its a hard concept to explain. I kept wanting to play Everquest when i started back in high school, so much that I played for almost 4 years. Then EverQuest 2 came out and it just didn't hold me. I went a couple years and then tried World of Warcraft and it had that 'it' factor for me.
I would give Warhammer Online 3 out of 5 stars, with 5 being completely awesome and 1 being basically a video game abortion.

I think the only thing I enjoyed about this game was the fact there were 100% drops, other then that I got bored of it quickly.
Yea same here, it just wasn't exciting after awhile.
so whats next kammie? maybe some resident evil 5? huh huh huh
Hells yeah, i played the demo already and it was soo much fun.
I'm also thinking of playing more wii fit and putting up a review, its kinda funny how it gets you to actually do exercise and be fun.
I started oblivion too, I know its old, but i might post my take on that.
And I'm also playing the DS Final Fantasy III...been out for a bit yeah, but still worth writing about =)
I'm out sick today, so the options are endless.
so you have a 360 and live because if you do, id be happy to help you review the RE 5 since it is co-op and i love those games, but you already knew that
Yeah well its my boyfriend's 360, so i can use it whenever. I'd welcome anyone's help on reviews. It would be nice to get some other points of view for them.
